BRINGING EXQUISITE REFUGEE-HAND MADE PRODUCTS TO GLOBAL RECOGNITION.
Our story
Today, the tents are gone from refugee camps. But the refugees aren’t. They're more settled than ever. About 70.8 million people live here. These heroes managed to thrive despite challenging circumstances by resorting back to their heritage, utilizing the generations of passed down craftsmanship techniques, creating a parallel reality with a revolutionary fashion system. Inspiring a series of initiatives by UNCHR and humanitarian organizations to learn from the success stories of emerging design talents in refugee communities and create opportunities where refugees are not a problem but rather than a productive addition to any society.
Our Model:
بلاحدود-No borders is a fashion community rising from the heart of refugee camps, enabling the struggling refugees to get the skills to collaborate and make a living, and be self-reliant, is one of the most effective ways in which people can rebuild their lives with dignity. Using a mixture of primitive sustainable design mythologies, shared and Rent-Based Closed-Loop Supply Chain for Fashion Products, with inherited craftsmanship of the region from different authentic types of embroideries from Syrian Embroidery to Palestinian, Jordanian and North African embroideries, and other techniques like Brocade, Crochet, weaving, jewelry making, leather handmade products. We help develop young talent in these camps with our learning programs and encourage them to exhibit their work. Through the events that we organize, we give the refugees a chance to collaborate with designers from other countries. We have taken this opportunity to take this fashion system to a larger scale and expand into cities that have similar living conditions to the refugee camps.
Starting with the team who receive a donation or recyclable fabric waste then communicate with the segregating team to evaluate if items could be directly used in share/lend service for the community; or if the garment needs upcycling to go to upcycling team.
Our team works closely with the creative individuals of emerging and experienced talents in the community to either upcycle or completely repurposing the items into completely different products like furniture, carpets, etc.
How we see the system is helping to preserve the heritage and culture of refugees –craftsmanship through opening the door for emerging talents to the outside world and help preserve the cultural heritage of refugees and presenting a different socioeconomic development potential for refugees' communities.

DREAM OF HUMANITY
Handcrafted home-wear
Artists in Jerash Camp in Jordan as well as Syrian refugees come together to create these beautifully crafted home wear. Through the art of embroidery, each artists uses this medium to represent their roots and heritage, one stitch at a time.
Hand stitched clothing
Inspired by a desire to introduce a brand which tells a myriad of unique stories, and therefore sets itself apart from ubiquitous high end fashion items which can be somewhat ‘copy and paste’.
Street Art
It’s no secret that art can be used as a powerful advocacy tool to communicate stories, as exemplified by “Dream of Humanity.” But art can also provide a vehicle for self-development and personal expression, in addition to the numerous benefits of using art as a therapeutic technique.
As the number of refugees in the world hits a staggering 60 million, there’s a growing need for programs that enable refugees to harness this creative process and foster new channels for their voices.
